marketsBelgrade offers assorted shopping opportunities similarly to other European capitals. Shopping in Belgrade is really practical city since all is concentrated in the city centre. Knez Minailova street and its surrounding areas are full of traditional shops, such as greengrocer, butcher, bakery but also large and luxurious Western-style shopping malls and supermarkets. As for clothing, the biggest influence on fashion is the Italian style that's why Italian brands are available all over Belgrade at competitive prices. The official Serbian currency is the dinar (RSD) and all the major credit cards (MasterCard, VISA, AMEX, Diners Club) are accepted in the majority of Belgrade's shops.
As for markets Belgraders love their markets. They are both a habit and a necessity, part of Belgraders everyday life. In addition to fruits and vegetables, you can buy cheese, honey, eggs, meat and fish there. Usually markets are opened from 6 am to 7 pm.

 

BELGRADE CITY CENTER SHOPPING

If you are looking for international brands such as Diesel, Replay, Benetton, Zara, Mango, Hugo Boss just walk down Terazije, Knez Mihailova, and the part of Kralja Aleksandra Boulevard in the city centre.
However if you want to find all of the mentioned brands and more at one place - visit Delta City, a fairly new and biggest shopping mall in Belgrade, located across the river in New Belgrade. Meanwhile if you prefer markets, do not miss Belgrade's the flea market (Buvljak or Otvoreni Trzni Centar - OTC) situated in the New Belgrade. This flea market hosts stands selling everything from bicycles to clothing and shoes and the prices are very low.
As for Shopping malls The Blok 70 in New Belgrade is today dominated by small vendors from China, selling everything, obviously it's very cheap. When venturing to either of these two locations, keep in mind that bargaining is always in order and make sure you give it a shot before settling for the sellers' first offer.
Shopping for cheap clothes, you may have a look at Depo on Kralja Aleksandra Boulevard, which sells women's and men's clothing at very low prices. The selection is usually limited to the styles that are currently most worn by the masses. As for Belgrade Souvenirs Shopping, there are several places to buy authentic presents and souvenirs in Belgrade.
